Our Outreach Offer
Our updated training and support offer ensures a comprehensive, whole school approach to universal and targeted support for all pupils? We have a new training and support offer for schools, moving away from individual pupil referrals, reports and contributions to statutory processes.
Our outreach offer is designed to work alongside schools to build staff confidence, develop inclusive practice and strengthen provision for pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs.
What can do we offer?
Our support can be tailored to the needs of your school and could include:
Whole-school Small-group or team training to develop knowledge, understanding and confidence around Autism.
Support for schools developing their own internal base or resource provision for autistic pupils or pupils with SLCN/ Autism.
Support for schools who have identified autistic pupils with Autism across different year groups or areas of school and want to strengthen their provision.
Bespoke advice and guidance to support inclusion and high-quality classroom practice.
Access to a range of training modules as Doncaster NEN partners.
Bespoke support for your school
We will work with you to understand your current provision and priorities. This may include visiting school, observing existing practice and discussing strengths and areas for development.
We can then provide bespoke training, advice and practical recommendations, working alongside any existing school improvement priorities, action plans or inclusion plans.
Our aim is to work with schools, not simply provide a report, helping staff develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to meet the needs of autistic pupils with Autism within their own setting.
