Our Uniform

Lower School – Black or grey trousers or skirt, white polo shirt, red sweatshirt or cardigan, black shoes, no trainers or boots please. In the summer, red checked dresses are optional.

Upper School – Black or grey trousers or skirt, white polo shirt, black sweatshirt, black shoes, no trainers or boots please.

Post 16 - Smart wear suitable for work, or graphite grey polo shirts and hoodies are available to purchase from school.

PE Kit / Swimming / Headwear

Black T-shirt, shorts or tracksuit, trainers, towel.

KS3/4 pupils should be prepared to shower after PE. (Use of spray deodorants is not allowed in school).

One-piece swimming costume or swimming trunks, towel. No shorts or goggles.

Hats are not to be worn inside the school building.

Please ensure that all items of clothing are labelled with your child’s name.

Jewellery

In the interest of health and safety, no jewellery please. A watch is acceptable. Your child will be asked to remove any jewellery and the items will be returned to them at the end of the school day. Pupils with pierced ears may only wear studs, one in each ear, to school. In the interest of health & safety, no other forms of earrings or body piercings are allowed.

Mobile Phones

Pupils are not allowed mobile phones in school. In an emergency, should they need to contact or be contacted by parents or guardians, they will be allowed access to the school phone. Any mobile phones brought into school should be handed in at reception, along with any personal items e.g. tablets, toys, etc, to avoid the risk of loss or theft.

Attendance

We do ask you to ensure that your child catches the school transport, to arrive at school on time.

If for any reason your child is absent from school, please inform us, as early as possible, on the first day of absence.

Holidays must not be taken in term time to maintain the continuity of education.
